Don’t let anything hold you back

What is Tenex Health TX?

Tenex Health TX is a minimally invasive treatment designed to address chronic tendon pain. It is designed to remove the source of the pain, just like open surgery, in a minimally invasive manner. It requires only local anesthetic and only a small adhesive bandage is used to aid healing — no stitches or sutures are required.

Does Tenex Health TX hurt?

A local anesthetic will be used to numb the area. You will not feel anything during the treatment except for slight pressure. After Tenex Health TX and during your recovery, you may feel sore in the treated area for a short period of time.

How long does Tenex Health TX take?

Typically, Tenex Health TX takes 20 minutes or less to complete. This includes the time to clean your skin before the treatment to placing a small adhesive bandage over the micro incision upon completion. Talk to your doctor about his or her protocols.

How long does it take to recover?

Unlike traditional open surgeries that may require several months to heal, the typical Tenex Health TX recovery period is 2 to 6 weeks. Your doctor will provide complete instructions after the treatment.

Will I have to take medications after receiving Tenex Health TX?

If you feel any discomfort after the treatment, you can take an over-the-counter pain medication. Your doctor will provide specific instructions based on your condition, work, and lifestyle.
