Helping You Access the Care You Need
Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin is committed to providing high-quality, accessible orthopedic care. We accept most major insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and self-pay options, ensuring patients receive the care they need, regardless of insurance status. Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin accepts many insurance plans, but coverage can vary based on specific plan types within each insurance company. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage, network participation, and any referral or authorization requirements before receiving care.

We accept many insurance payers; however, plan-level exclusions may apply. Even if your insurer is listed as in-network, your specific plan may consider our services out-of-network. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.
We are currently in-network with many plans from the following insurance providers:
Humana Medicare (We do accept Humana Medicare Advantage plans. Note: Humana no longer offers commercial plans as of 2024.)
Network Health Plan
WPS
Aetna
Quartz
Cigna
Centivo

UnitedHealthcare
Anthem / Blue Cross Blue Shield
Medicare
Medicaid (ForwardHealth/BadgerCare) – for limited services.
Other regional PPO and HMO plans (varies by employer and plan type)
Important Updates
Chorus ACA Marketplace Plans: Chorus Community Health Plans (CCHP) is exiting the Individual and Family Plan (IFP) market (also referred to as Marketplace, Exchange, and ACA) and will no longer offer health insurance coverage for IFP members after December 31, 2025
Please reach out if your insurance provider is not listed here; we may still accept your plan. Our billing team is happy to assist you in verifying your benefits.
Self-Pay Options
We offer a self-pay option for patients without insurance or who pay out of pocket. Transparent pricing and flexible payment plans may be available, and our billing specialists can walk you through estimated costs and payment arrangements before treatment.
Contracting & Network Relationships
Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin participates in network contracting through the ACO (Accountable Care Organization) affiliated with ProHealth Care (PHC). If your insurance plan is listed on the ProHealth Care insurance page, we are also considered in-network.
Insurance networks and plan details vary, so we strongly recommend confirming your in-network status directly with your insurance provider. You can also contact our office if you need help or clarification.
