FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 7, 2025

PEWAUKEE, WI—Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin (OAW) is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its newest state-of-the-art facility in Johnson Creek. This marks an exciting step forward in expanding specialized, high-value orthopedic care to communities across southeastern Wisconsin.

The new 46,000-square-foot facility at Hartwig Boulevard and North Watertown Street intersection will house a full-service orthopedic clinic and outpatient surgery center. It will provide expert care in various subspecialties, including spine, hand and upper extremity, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and joint replacement surgery.

“As demand for high-quality orthopedic care continues to grow, we are committed to meeting the needs of our patients while also supporting the growth of the communities we serve,” said Jon Englund, MD, CEO of Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin. “This facility will allow us to deliver the same trusted, patient-centered care that OAW is known for, closer to home for residents in Jefferson County and surrounding areas.”

The facility is expected to employ over 75 healthcare professionals, contributing significantly to the region’s healthcare workforce and economic development. With a focus on convenience and continuity of care, the new site will provide seamless access to physician visits, OrthoASAP walk-in clinic, MRI services, physical therapy, and outpatient surgery under one roof.

Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin anticipates welcoming patients to the Johnson Creek facility in late summer/early fall of 2026.
