Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin's Orthopaedic Surgery Center opened in March 2007 and is especially designed not only for those undergoing treatment, but also for their family and friends who will ultimately take care of them.
Equipped to provide state-of-the-art surgical and arthroscopic procedures for outpatients, the Center is additionally conceived to provide a pleasant and homelike atmosphere for the caretakers who bring a patient there, and then wait until he or she is ready to go home.
For that reason, we strive to ensure that the Center does not evoke feelings of being in a sterile hospital or clinic. Instead, a friendly and inviting waiting area is arranged with seating that provides individual "living rooms" for friends and family to wait for loved‑ones. Not only are there lots of great books and magazines, but also individual DVD players and a library of recent and classic films that grownups & kids can enjoy.
